Stockings for Seniors Holiday Program
Join Smiles for Seniors and help to wrap presents and stuff stockings for the residents in nursing homes.
Saturday December 9th 9:00 am at The Colony Mobile Home Park Club House 975 California Street Calimesa Ca. 92320

17th Annual Stockings for Seniors Holiday Program Itinerary
Please join us to bring joy and cheer to the residents of nursing homes on December 16th. We will be meeting at the 99C Only Store Parking lot located at 12013 Yucaipa Bl. Yucaipa at 8:45 am and will caravan to the nursing homes and promptly leave at 9:00 am and arrive at our first stop Vista Real Post Acute Located at 1665 E 8th St. Beaumont by 9:30 am
Our next Stop is at Green Valley Village Located at 34967 Yucaipa Bl. Yucaipa at 11:00 am.
After that we will have a pizza party for the volunteers at Pizza Chalet located at34299 Yucaipa Bl. Yucaipa

If you cannot caravan, please feel free to join us at any one of the nursing homes. You must have had Covid 19 Vaccine and or proof of a negative test to go inside facility.

We invite you to participate in our 17th Annual Stockings for Seniors Holiday Program. December 16th, 2023
This is a very heartwarming event held each year where Smiles for Seniors and local children combine efforts to bring joy and cheer to the residents of nursing homes.
Many seniors feel sad and blue around the holidays thinking of memories past and friends and family that have passed on. Many of them receive very few visits and some; none at all. We want to help to alleviate the loneliness some seniors may feel while staying in a nursing home over the holidays. This year on Saturday December 16th we will be visiting 2 nursing homes and bringing gifts to the residents.
We need friends like you in the community to help us share the joy. We encourage you to adopt a senior and purchase a stocking at $45.00. The stockings are filled with goodies such as hats, gloves, scarves, socks, toiletries and personal items, small games, sugar free candies, teddy bears just to name a few.
If you cannot find it in your budget to purchase a stocking you may wish to help by volunteering or by donating small gifts for the residents such as games, arts and crafts, and toiletries or by purchasing a gift card to Walmart or Target and we will shop for you for the items needed.
We are also in need of volunteers and the seniors really love to see the little ones.
